Why CBD?

CBD is one of the most highly acclaimed products on the market at the moment. It has overwhelmingly positive reviews and with more and more people introducing it into their daily lives, we at Gods Garden want to offer premium grade CBD products at incredible value.

The WHO (World Health Organization) itself acknowledges the possible benefits CBD may have for a multitude of users.

Due to regulations we cannot make any medicinal claims because of the UK’s current classification of CBD as a novel food. This said the demand for CBD products is ever increasing and many of our customers have found several positive effects from its use.

What are Terpinoids?

Terpenes a naturally produced group of compounds that provide most of the aromas and odors we can smell in plants. From the calming scent of lavender to the zest of citrus fruits, terpenes interact with our senses throughout our lives and did you know, they can affect us both physically and psychologically! Terpenes may have many uses in medicine and health, and more evidence is being found to support which ways terpenes affect you when consuming them in conjunction with cannabinoids.
Gods Garden CBD use a variety of naturally sourced terpenes and oils in our products to ensure the highest quality finished products.

How do they effect you?

Terpenes can have a variety of effects on the human body when consumed. Compounds such as limonene, beta-caryophyllene and other terpenoids can have anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, anti-bacterial and antifungal effects.

The most common terpenes found in the Hemp plant are β-Carophyllene, Pinene, Mycrene, Himulene, Terpinolene, Limonene, and β-Ocimene.

When working in conjunction with cannabinoids like CBD,CBG,CBC it has been found they can have the 'entourage effect'. The 'entourage effect' is a proposed mechanism by which cannabis compounds and terpenoids act synergistically to modulate the overall effects of the Hemp plant.

Terpenoids work on the same systems as cannabinoids and work in conjuction to modulate CB1 and serotonin receptors. There are more studies to be done on how all terpenes effect your body however, more promising research is being done to observe how they interact with the human body.

Absolutely No THC

CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) are the most common cannabinoids found in cannabis products.

THC and CBD are in both marijuana and hemp. Marijuana contains much more THC than hemp, while hemp has a lot of CBD.

Unlike some of our transatlantic cousins the UK is still to see the potential benefits of THC and as a result this particular cannabinoid is still illegal.

As a result, we Gods Garden CBD ensure that all of our product adhere to government standards and contain less than 0.2% THC (though the majority actually contain 0%).

You can rest assured that any product you purchase from us is of the highest quality standard.
